So chic. We first met Madison at a wedding six years ago, and then ran into here again a couple years ago when she shot her mom’s wedding and we’ve spent the entire time since just waiting for her to become a senior so we could have some one-on-one photo time. We were thrilled to welcome her on board as a 2016 senior model for us, and her full shoot in downtown Indianapolis was incredible. We had reschedule a number of times due to nasty Indiana weather, but the night we hit the streets ended up being just beautiful. Okay, it was pretty chilly, but Madison was an absolute trooper and owned it.
Some tech notes for photographers, this was our first senior session where we got to break out the new Nikkon PC-E 45mm tilt shift. It’s pretty obvious which shots use that one. Ha. This was also our first major shoot where the Leica M9 got some serious playtime. Most shots with the Leica were paired with a Zeiss C Sonnar 50mm f/1.5, but the Summicron 35mm also made an appearance. When the lights came out to play, it was with the Profoto B2 and the gridded 2′ Octa. Also, a big thanks Audra Courtney from Inspire Hair Salon for the great job makeup and hair job!
