Hold on to your butts, this is a big one. Rachel and Matt are free-spirited artists and have no trouble forgoing pomp and circumstance. He's a comedian, a pianist, and a DJ. She's also in the comedy and acting scene. The sorta-roaring-20s-themed wedding took place at a coffee shop. Rachel designed her own shoes and accessories. She had a friend make her dress. It was red, as you'll see. There was an organic vegetarian brunch with things like sweet potato pancakes. There were comedians for ceremony readers. The groom put together a band and they performed to open up the dancing. Oh, that was actually after the burlesque performers did a feather dance.
And then we went to the location of their first date, The Green Mill. Then we went downtown to the extremely fancy Palmer House where, without permission, we commandeered a piano in the elevator bank for some very sexy and dramatic photos.
What an unforgettable way to end the year.
