When half the wedding party is from Detroit, Michigan and the other half is from Corydon, Indiana... What's a bride and groom to do? How about have an all-out wedding somewhere in the middle at the grandiose Indiana Statehouse, followed by a reception at the legendary JW Marriott? Talk about a recipe for success! Dr. Brian and Dr. Sarah were class acts, toting along a motley crew of a bridal party. 😉 We kid of course, as (most) everyone was (mostly) sober leading up to the big event.
Let's cut to the chase: It was gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. And it was a celebration of two awesome people, populated by an incredibly support group of friends and family that, most importantly, knew how to party. Isn't that all you can ask for? We always say that there are two measures for success on the wedding day.
- Did you get married?
- Was the dance floor packed when it was time to go home?
Check and check. The latter point was helped considerably by possibly the best party band I've ever, ever, ever witnessed... ever. But the former? Well, that's just love.
Mr. & Mrs. Kissel, we are so unbelievably happy for you two and are still ecstatic that your mother found us and "didn't give you a choice." And again, sorry we're taking forever. You know how planning a wedding is. 😉 We wish you two all the best.
